" Although we have good hunting in my home state of Missouri,
I really wanted to take a chance and hunt the Illinois Giants.
After searching endlessly for outfitters I finally decided on
Illinois' Ohio River Outfitters. Wade Gibbons and his
guides sure know how to put their hunters on some big deer.
I had the option of hunting multiple stands, but I hunted the
same spot for the entire 3-day gun season and finally connected
with this 12-pt Illinois Giant on the last morning of my hunt.
I saw big deer everyday and actually missed a huge buck on
opening day. That's when I realized I was in a great spot
and needed to spend as much time as I could in that stand.
It paid off with this awesome 12 pt. Thanks for everything
you guys. I'll never forget that hunt."

Alabama:
"I had been hunting Alberta for the past several years and got
tired of the hassle of hunting Canada. I called Wade
Gibbons with Illinois' Ohio River Outfitters in 2010 and have
been booking Combo hunts with him since. My first year I
killed this huge 10pt. with my bow, then came down so sick and I
had to go home and missing the entire the gun season.
During this year's combo hunt I killed a great 8 pt. with my bow
and another huge 10pt. with my muzzleloader, plus 3 doe for
meat. These guys really know their stuff and I would
recommend them to anyone wanting a great Illinois hunt.
The food is great and the hunting is even better. Thanks again

hunt of a lifetime for me. I arrowed this awesome buck on
my third morning of the hunt. I booked this hunt with two
of my buddies, Adam and Rick. It was Rick's first bow hunt
ever. He had a great time and missed three huge bucks,
including an opportunity at this monster 14 pt. I had such
a great time there that I am booking another whitetail hunt for
next season and 3 spring turkey hunts for my sons. You have some

Minnesota : Kicking Bear One on One Founder, Professional Bow Hunter,
Gander Mountain Pro Staff, and PSE Pro Staff Member. "For the
past 15 years I have not been rattled by a big mature whitetail.
The B&C class monster 8pt. that I had at 60 yds. on the first
day of my hunt had me rattled." It was the biggest 8pt I have
ever seen in my life, and I do a lot of bow hunting. I was so
excited I had to call fellow pro staffer Dan Perez, who was
hunting in Kansas at the time, to tell him about the buck I
would be hunting for the remainder of my stay at Ohio River
Outfitters."

Groes Beck Texas. "During the Illinois
Archery Season I traveled to hunt with my two fellow Pro Staff
Members at Ohio River Outfitters. The first morning of my hunt
left me staring down a 140" buck at 30yrds. Since we were
filming for the entire week, I decided to pass on him. However,
an unseasonable warm spell set in causing the deer activity to
slow. In hindsight I should have taken the 140" for the Video."

Gibbons at Ohio River Outfitters and he filmed me harvest a
magnificent 140" 10 pt. right along the river. The afternoon
temperatures were reaching 70 degrees, but we still managed to
hunt this deer for two days before taking him. You could hear a
barge coming up the river while we were filming the hunt. The
footage from the hunt will go on the Outdoor Channel and an
