Harold Hall, a central Illinois
farmer, traveled south to
Ohio River Outfitter Guides
hunt our giant
deer on the Ohio in Southern Illinois. with 2008 Booner
Class Bow Kill
He shot this monster 9 pt. on the
third day of his bow
hunt. This deer was actually locked
up with a bigger
10pt. when Harold made an awesome
20 yard shot.
He rattled
in both bucks.

Michigan's Steve Taber booked a 2008 combo hunt. This is Steve's buck
captured on one of our Cuddeback Digital Cameras on 7/29/08 at 7:26
P.M. This is one of many pictures of his buck taken by our Cuddebacks.
(Notice the drop tine starting on the right antler.) He made a great shot on this deer with his
new Bowtech. Steve has already rebooked with us for 2009.
See you next year Steve!!!!!

TAXIDERMY PRICES:
Hillside Taxidermy is a local taxidermist that works with Illinois'
Ohio River Outfitters. Since our hunting operation gives owner
Larry Johnson so much business each season, he has been gracious
enough to give our clients a discount on their trophy mount.
For $275 he will mount your deer and ship it out to you.
Shipping will run approximately $75.00 - $100.00 extra. Here
is an example of his fine taxidermy work. Larry is one of the
few full time taxidermists in Illinois.
You can call Larry of Hillside Taxidermy at (618) 926-0907 or (618)

Guidelines & Regulations: |
-
Hunters must follow Illinois
Department of Natural Resources
Guidelines and Regulations as well as Federal Game Laws at
ALL
times. Failure to do
so may result in removal from the property without a refund
of money.
- Any remaining balances will be
due upon arrival at the lodge before hunting begins.
- Hunters will be given a brief
orientation on hunting rules and waivers to sign.
- There will be a $750 fine for
shooting bucks under 130" Pope & Young.
- A wounded deer is considered a dead
deer. We will help you search for your deer for the
remainder of your hunt. Practice shooting from a tree
stand before you arrive, not just an elevated platform such
as your deck.
-
Getting down from tree stands and walking around is
prohibited. All you will do is drive the deer on to
the neighbors.
-
We do not drive deer. All hunts are fair chase on free
ranging whitetails. NO FENCES HERE!!
- We encourage the harvesting of doe. Doe
permits are available over the counter in Illinois.
You may harvest multiple doe on your hunt - however the
processing is your responsibility. We can't have
our guides skinning deer until 1:00 A.M. then get back up at
3:30 A.M. to guide hunters.
-
You may donate your venison to a local food bank if you are
unable to take it home.
- If you have any
questions feel free to give us a call at one of the numbers
below.
Spots will fill up quickly, so book your hunt
early!!!
